pixelens sports photography’s first sports shoot was an exciting mixed martial arts (MMA) event at the Shaw Conference Centre – TFC 8. pixelens was also present for the inaugural Aggression MMA: First Blood event at the Edmonton Expo Centre, and over the past 18 months has shot over 40 MMA, Muay Thai and Boxing cards in Western Canada. pixelens photography‘s MMA photos have appeared in a range of publications including newspapers, Fighters Only Magazine, ads for HDNet Fights, and even on the Score Fighting Series and a BBC program.
pixelens sports photography was also the main photographer role for the Concordia University College of Alberta Athletics department during the 2009-2010 season and shot ACAC/CCAA soccer, volleyball, basketball, and hockey.
pixelens sports photography offered these services to Concordia for use on their website and news releases. In the very near future, these photos will be made available for the athletes and their friends and families to purchase in various sizes.
Recently pixelens sports photography’s volleyball photos were featured in the Fall 2009 issue of Prospect magazine and in the Edmonton Examiner on October 7, 2009.
